where children sleep

English born photographer James Mollison took this series of large-format portraits of children from around the world, accompanied by a photo of their bedrooms and a brief bio. Obviously the aim was to photograph as diverse a group as possible, highlighting inequality and such, but also interesting is the contrast between some of the children’s appearances and their sleeping quarters. The book is currently at preorder on amazon for 15 nug with free UK shipping
