trekking up a big hill in scotland to catch a fish

Aros took me up a big hill (which was more like a small mountain) to get to these secluded lochs to fish. I was carrying the heavy pack and it took the best part of an hour and a half to get up, but the fishing was amazing. After trying our luck in one loch for a while only to catch small fish we popped over to a neibouring loch where we caught 8 trout, which later on we ate for dinner. It was spiritual. Oh yeah can you see all the flies? mother mary shit the bed. The flies paired with the wet and treacherously slippy roots that covered the basic paths made it pretty difficult. I tried to catch it with some of the last photos but the drop from the path down into the valley was unbelievable, some serious man point stuff right there, and at one point we got stuck above this huge rock section on the face of the hill, and I slid down it on my arse. Possibly the scariest thing I’ve ever done, I was grasping for the wet heather to stop myself falling down to the river and my certain death. Many thanks to Aros for this great trip
